Cafe2U – fast track to business

The world’s largest mobile coffee franchise, Australian born Cafe2U, with over 50 franchises in the UK, is taking off thanks to the introduction of a unique package ensuring all new franchisees success from day one of their new business venture.

Cafe2U now has more than 100 franchisees in Australia including eight franchises in Western Australia but this promises to be the tip of the iceberg as prospective franchisees look to invest in a ‘sure thing’ during the economic downturn.

“There are multiple territories available in Western Australia because we have only really begun to tap into the market here,” said Cafe2U managing director, Derek Black.

“And we have launched a new package that should see interest spike very quickly among prospective franchisees in Western Australia.”

Cafe2U has introduced the Acceleration Package to ensure new franchisees hit the ground running from day one. The start-up package fast-tracks their business launch by three months, allowing them to reach a level of daily sales that previously took on average up to this period to achieve. This level of sales is modelled to be over the break-even point to cover the investment in the franchise.

Cafe2U also provides an income guarantee for the first two weeks, with a daily business schedule constructed with the assistance of the franchisee’s allocated franchisee development manager.

“We guarantee that from the first day of trading, they will be taking home $500 a day for the next two weeks,” Black added.

The sole focus of the franchisee development manager is to accelerate the development of the new business.

At the conclusion of the Acceleration Package, franchisees are mentored on an ongoing basis by experienced operators within the organisation, with advice on making business choices gleaned from the collective experience of more than 150 Cafe2U franchises.

The first recipient of the Acceleration package was Dominic Calabro, in Wetherill Park, New South Wales. Here is what he has to say.

“I started six months ago and couldn’t be happier with the way things have worked out. Admittedly, the first few weeks are a bit scary but once you’re settled in, all seems to fall into place. I really enjoy my work and my new found career.”

The total “Acceleration Package” takes the new franchisee 0four weeks to complete including one week pre-work with the franchisee development manager, one week in the classroom and two weeks in the franchisee’s exclusive territory. A sales professional for nearly 30 years, Adrian Mills launched a Cafe2U franchise in the Canningvale, Western Australia territory in June.

“I wanted to be my own boss and in addition to this the marketing of the Cafe2U franchise is second to none. Their branding is so distinctive and stands out in a crowd.

“A lot of time and research has gone into this next chapter of my life, so I’m prepared to work very hard to succeed. The harder you work the more you are rewarded. I like that aspect very much.”
