Buy a tutoring franchise for up to $20,000

Sarah Stowe

Lynn’s Learning is an home grown company that provides tailored mathematics and English tuition, with programs developed by teachers which follow the Australian Curriculum. Lynn's Learning franchisees benefit from low overhead costs.

Although the initial investment in the franchise is a maximum $20,000, franchisees are provided a four week admin, marketing, and tutoring method training program, as well as onsite training, and quarterly catch ups with the directors.

Franchisees can benefit from lower overhead costs as many franchisees choose to hire a school hall or community centre for tuition, rather than renting a permanent location.

Lynn’s Learning is “in the process of creating an online portal in the next two months”, says Mikayla Tam, marketing manager. This is designed to streamline finances.

However, she highlights that franchisees start with a blank sheet and have to build a client list, which makes marketing a major part of the business.

“If you don’t work at it (the franchise), it won’t grow.”
