Boost and The Wiggles join forces to provide healthy snacks for children

In a bid to offer children a fun, healthy and tasty snack, Boost Juice Bars franchise and The Wiggles are launching a four week promotion, starting 20 October 2008. Four different designed 250ml cups will be released each week, featuring Wiggles and Boost mascot, Barry Boost designs. Children can then choose between BoostÕs low fat Banana Buzz or Strawberry Squeeze smoothie.

Blue Wiggle, Anthony Field, said of the collaboration, “We only endorse products that are nutritionally balanced snacks suitable for children. We employ the use of an independent nutritionist to review ingredient listings, RDI, per serves of energy, protein, fat, carbohydrate, sugars and vitamin/mineral content to ensure that the product we endorse is just right for children.”

Boosts Juice Bars nutritionist, Shane Bilsborough, is also aware of the importance of providing children with the right diet. “Boost provides parents with a guilt free snack option. A kidÕs size Banana Buzz contains 50 per cent of childrenÕs recommended calcium intake, as well as fresh banana. ItÕs the perfect way to provide kids with many of the vitamins and nutrients they need to stay healthy.”
