Award winning franchisees announced at Cafe2U

Sarah Stowe

Mobile coffee franchise Cafe2U hosted its Annual Leadership Conference in Uluru to honour franchisees who had achieved outstanding results throughout the year.

The top slot, National Franchise of the Year, went to Rob Clark of South Australia’s Regency Park, for the second consecutive year, a first for any Cafe2U franchisee.

Clark opened his first Cafe2U franchise just over five years ago. “I cannot believe I have won the National Franchisee of the year for the second time. I will be pinching myself for quite some time yet”, Clark said.

The Franchise of the Year Award is based on consistently high standards in audits, participation in meetings and conferences, events, marketing activities and coffee purchases.

Cafe2U managing director Derek Black said “Cafe2U’s Award Program is designed to recognise our Franchise Partners who have consistently delivered outstanding results in their service. It is a great honour for Rob to be awarded Franchise of the Year (FOTY) for the second year in a row and a true testament to his consistently high-quality of service.”

The Multi Unit Franchisee of the year award for the franchisee operating two or more franchised vans, and who achieved the highest score on the annual FOTY competition, was awarded to John and Josh Prasad, Glenelg, South Australia.
