Franchised beauty chain Australian Skin Clinics has unveiled its new education facility with state of the art technical equipment.

The Advanced Skills Academy on the Gold Coast is a registered training organisation that offers courses for students across the country. Students can learn from professionals who specialise in the field of medi-aesthetics, with courses available both online and on-site.

Australian Skin Clinics managing director, Deb Farnworth-Wood, said the addition of an education arm was a natural progression for the franchise.

The academy portfolio includes courses that deliver nationally recognised qualifications. Subjects available now for beauty therapists include management, health, business, beauty and laser, with specialised training in advanced micro-dermabrasions, government approved laser safety, class IV laser training in hair removal, skin rejuvenation and superficial vascular treatments.
