The convenience chain 7-Eleven has appointed Marina Go to its board.

Marina Go is chair of the Wests Tigers NRL Club and Office Brands, Australia’s largest independent business suppliers group. She is a non-executive director of EnergyAustralia, Autosports Group, the Walkley Foundation and chair of the Advisory Board for the Centre for Media Transition at The University of Technology Sydney and has previously served on sporting, cultural, retail and not-for-profit boards.

Author of the business book for women, Break Through: 20 Success Strategies for Female Leaders, Go was named as one of 20 True Leaders of 2016 by Boss Magazine. Her executive roles include general manager Australia of leading multi-platform media publisher Hearst Media, chief executive of digital media company Private Media, and group publishing director of Independent Digital Media. She has an MBA from The Australian Graduate School of Management.

Go is also on the Advisory Boards of the Australian Republic Movement and Background, an innovative marketing agency startup.
