$10m franchise accommodation opens in Singleton

Sarah Stowe

The latest complex in the Quest Serviced Apartments franchise network has opened in NSWÕs Hunter Valley region to service the accommodation needs of the $4 billion local mining industry, defence personnel and regional tourism.

“Opening up a new property in Singleton made a lot of sense,” Quest Chairman, Paul Constantinou, said. “ItÕs an important town to the mining industry and a number of planned infrastructure projects mean that accommodation for the business traveller will be in high demand in the near future,” he said.

The property is owned by franchisees Belinda and Bryan Stevenson, who are also successful owners of the Quest Newcastle franchise. They have partnered with Mark and Fiona Drinkwater, who are living on-site to manage the property.

The four bring combined expertise from the hospitality industry, management of multiple Quest properties, banking and the defence industry to the table. This will ensure that the property is well managed and that guests receive the high quality of service common to all Quest Apartments.

Quest Singleton is a modern 4.5 star property, featuring 35 two- and three-bedroom serviced apartments spread over three levels. Included in the $10m site are on-site car parking, gym, conference facilities and an al fresco BBQ area.

Quest Singleton is the fourth property to be opened this year by the serviced apartment group, which continues to expand despite todayÕs tough business conditions.
