Worldwide leads industry in online print management

After introducing Australia’s first Online Print Management (OPM) system in 1996, Worldwide Online Printing continues to innovate today with the launch of the new generation OPM2 package.

Having invested close to $800,000 into developing its latest Online Print Management package, and after months of development and preparation, the printing franchise group will officially launch OPM2 on the 1st October this year.

According to Donald MacKenzie, CEO with the business services franchise group, the new OPM package is set to transform the way mid-size and national organisations manage branded material, from print to promotional items and branded work-wear.

Training organisations such as TAFE South Australia and the SA Country Fire Service, and national business chains including Jim’s Bookkeeping, Action Coach and Civic Video have already embraced the new package and are enjoying the benefits of OPM2.

“We’ve developed a package that can help businesses dramatically reduce the time and costs involved in managing print materials, and at the same time help marketing teams achieve greater control over their brand.”

OPM2 gives businesses access to their own online catalogues, with every artwork template in the catalogue created to strict branding guidelines. To place an order, the user simply selects an item, completes variable fields and views an online proof if needed, specifies quantity and places the order.

John Birse, National Divisional Franchisor for Jim’s Bookkeeping, said, “We had used online-based ordering before, but nothing as advanced as OPM2.

“By the time one of our franchisees is ready to order a print item, everything, including artwork, printing specifications and costs have been approved by the franchisor. It means there’s no need to go back and forth to get necessary sign-offs and there’s virtually no room for error,” explained John Birse.

The OPM2 package features new ‘Print from my Computer’ functionality, which allows users to print small quantities of one-off documents via OPM2, reducing the need for convenience copiers. Other features include different levels of user access and fixed pricing, which helps organisations to manage spending and predict future costs.
