United Franchise Group appoints Evan Foster to new director role
The United Franchise Group, franchisor of digital printing franchise network Sign A Rama , has appointed Evan Foster to the new role of director of the group in Australia.
Foster will oversee marketing, national accounts, field support, and franchise developments for all the brands within the group, including Sign A Rama, Plan Ahead Events, EmbroidMe, Billboard Connection and Franchise Mart.
Evan Foster will report directly to Walter Seltzer, vice president of global performance at the company’s headquarters in the US.
Regarding Foster’s appointment, Seltzer said, “United Franchise Group has enjoyed tremendous success in the Australian market for the past 12 years. Evan was instrumental in the growth and support of our WA region and his leadership there and across the country made this an easy decision for us. All Australian franchisees will now be able to benefit from the experience that Evan brings to the table."
In 2006, Foster joined the United Franchise Group as marketing advisor for Western Australia, and in that role he facilitated double-digit growth each year for four years. He was appointed national marketing director in 2008.
The new director role will see Foster working with a team of 13 support staff.
“Our success is driven by the hard work of the franchisees themselves and I feel privileged to be working with them,” said Foster. “This year we anticipate a growth in revenue of 10 percent or more for Sign A Rama and 15 percent plus for EmbroidMe, as well as growth in our other brands.”
Before joining the United Franchise Group, Foster worked in marketing for the Healthy Life franchise.
The United Franchise Group has more than 1,450 franchise locations in 50 countries.
