Trampoline gelato franchise bounces into Darwin with two new stores and a snappy new flavour
Australian gelato franchise group, Trampoline , has made its way up north with the opening of two new gelato franchise stores in Darwin. The gelato franchises are located at the newly developed Waterfront Precinct and freshly revitalised Knuckey Street.
Amanda Walton, Trampoline CEO said she was proud to be bringing Trampoline to Darwin.
“We are thrilled to be in Darwin where our gelato is especially suited to the climate. With so much development taking place at the moment – particularly at the Waterfront – it’s a really exciting time for the brand to jump on board.”
Trampoline’s venture into Darwin’s sunnier climes follows the opening of their first interstate gelato franchise store at Queensland’s Indooroopilly late last year. The ice cream franchise group also have eight stores throughout Melbourne, having been serving up their surprisingly different range of artisan gelato for over six years, since first opening their doors at Fitzroy’s trendy Brunswick Street.
Trampoline has also released a special new Darwin inspired flavour to celebrate their launch into the Territory. The aptly named ‘Croc Mint’ comprises a smooth Belgian couverture choc mint base with mint crisps lurking above and below the surface.
Released across their full network of 11 gelato franchises, Trampoline has also pledged to donate 5c for every Midi cup of the flavour sold before July 31 to their mates at the Indigenous Literacy Project. A partnership between The Australian Book Industry and The Fred Hollows Foundation, The Indigenous Literacy Project supplies suitable age appropriate books and reading materials to remote communities.
