Toowoomba Xpresso Mobile franchise serving loyal customers

The Toowoomba van of the Xpresso Mobilefranchise began making its rounds to local businesses just three weeks ago, and already has established a loyal clientele.

“It has taken off really quickly and we have about 20 regulars now,” franchisees Michael Brennan and Janine Paul said.

“We go to the same businesses at the same time every day, and run the hot drinks in.

“The most popular drinks at the moment are mochas and hot chocolates, but customers also love the Merio coffee we use.”

The van used by the coffee franchise contains a sophisticated coffee machine which can makes four drinks at the same time.

All tastes are catered for, with soy milk, decaffeinated coffee and even iced frappes featuring on the menu.

“It is quick and easy for people to get their coffee this way, but it is always a bit of a social occasion as well,” Janine said.

“We’re always meeting new people, which is the best part of the job.”

The local mobile franchise extends as far as Crows Nest, Stanthorpe, Gatton and Dalby, but Michael and Janine say the van will remain largely in Toowoomba on weekdays.

They are planning to establish a niche in the events market by setting up at markets or sporting carnivals.
