Successful 'manage to own' applications receive paid on-the-job franchise training followed by an opportunity to manage a company owned bakery. Once this process is completed, Bakers Delight will assist recruits in taking the next step to leasing or purchasing their own Bakers Delight bakery franchise through financial assistance and ongoing advice, training and operational support.

The Bakers Delight 'fresh franchisee' program gives young hopefuls currently employed at a Bakers Delight bakery franchise the opportunity to take the first step towards becoming a Bakers Delight franchisee. This program is available to current Bakers Delight employees who have the drive and aspiration to one day operate their own Bakers Delight bakery. The 'fresh franchisee' program covers all aspects of the Bakers Delight franchise training program and is completed while in current employment with the support of the training team.
