Thornland resident takes up franchise opportunity with Ovenu
Ovenu home services franchise has acquired a new franchisee in Thornland resident, Toby Bowes, who after months of research has swapped his teaching job for one with the cleaning franchise.
Formerly a language teacher at Ormiston College, taking up a franchise opportunity with Ovenu just seemed to make sense. Mr Bowes noted that the business venture had to be exceptional to trade in his old career and that the Ovenu service was unique.
“There are many reasons to have your oven cleaned,” he said.
“You could be moving home, having a New Years clean–up, or for safety reasons wish to remove the carbon build up from behind the panels.”
The quality of the cleaning franchises’ service also appealed to Bowes.
“Amazing is that the section behind the back panels is cleaned, where you can’t see the build-up.
“People don’t realise that this is where fires can start,” he said.
The home services franchise is relatively new to Australia but has been successful for a number of years in the UK where the non-toxic oven cleaning service has been available since 1994.
Ovenu cleaning franchises remove the door, panels and fan from client’s ovens and professional clean them, using special environmentally friendly non-caustic solutions. After the oven is reassembled and polished, it is checked with a UV light to ensure it is 100 per cent clean.
