Thomas Kessel swaps pet accessories for Gutter-Vac
Perth resident, Thomas Kessel, has swapped pet accessories for a Gutter-Vac franchise in Perth Midland.
Perth Midland covers a large area of the city’s east, which includes Kalamunda foothills where there is the ever present bushfire threat that keeps the local residents, including Thomas and his fiancé Sarella, busy year round.
Thomas Kessel has spent the past twelve years distributing all manner of pet accessories from collars, leads, and shampoo to bedding. It was through a web search, he had discovered a great opportunity with Gutter-Vac’s gutter clearing franchises.
“I found the Gutter-Vac web site when surfing the net looking for some sort of gutter protection for my parents’ property,” said Thomas.
“It struck both Sarella and I as a tremendous opportunity. Not just from a business perspective, but something whereby we could really make a difference and contribute to the community overall.”
The Perth couple will be devoting themselves full time to their Gutter-Vac franchise. Sarella will be doing more than just admin work for their business, as she is fully qualified to be working at heights herself. Sarella also hopes to enlist one of her two sons into the gutter clearing franchises as well.
Thomas and Sarella are looking forward to working closely with neighbouring franchise owner, Hamish McCracken, and are already currently working on a PR and marketing strategy together.
“It makes sense to tap into Hamish’s experience and he is looking forward to us bringing a fresh perspective into the business,” said Thomas.
