Red Rooster  offers step-by-step assistance to those who would like to apply to purchase their chicken franchises. The steps follow this procedure:

1. The applicant registers for an Enquiry Pack
2. There is an initial discussion with a Red Rooster representative.
3. An enquiry pack (including DVD, application form and pre-disclosure confidentiality agreement) is sent in the mail
4. The applicant submits an application form, refundable security deposit and pre-disclosure confidentiality agreement.
5. The applicant attends the first application meeting.
6. If both parties wish to proceed, at the second meeting site selection and negotiation are discussed.
7. The applicant seeks independent advice. It is a requirement that the potential franchisee receive independent, legal, financial and business advice.
8. The application will be submitted to the Red Rooster Board of Directors for approval.
9. A 'Letter of Offer to Franchise' will be issued to the applicant if the application is approved.
10. Following payment of franchise and training fees, the applicant will enter a training agreement and a pre-franchise agreement.
11. Construction of the store will commence, unless it is an existing site.
12. Further payments will be made in accordance with the construction schedule.
13. After successfully completing training, the applicant will enter a Franchise Agreement.
