The Mini Maestros franchise stimulates children’s development with musical instruments
The Mini Maestros franchise was established in 19948 by Jenny Fogarty and in its 60-year history the institution has benefited thousands of children. The children’s dance training franchise is a music programme which enhances a child’s development by exposure to music, musical instruments. The Australian education and training franchise’s programme includes games, singing, dancing and playing percussion instruments. All these activities serve to stimulate and encourage imagination and creativity in a child.
The Mini Maestros programme was formulated after extensive research by its founder, Jenny Fogarty. A major portion of the music used in its programmes has been composed by various Australian artists and the style used for music education is based largely on the Kodaly methodology with certain parts modified based on Orff, Dalcroze and Suzuki theories.
The singing, dancing and playing percussion instruments are especially helpful in the development of the child. Mini Maestros’ teachers provide children with a variety of percussion instruments which look and sound appealing to them. Children use these musical instruments are engaged in music making which inturn stimulates the creativity of a child. As these activities also encourage interaction, sharing and waiting one’s turn, children develop and mature as individuals as well. 04.10.2007Contact Mini Maestros
