The Burrito Bar brings Mexican cuisine to Broadbeach, Gold Coast
Following the success of the two Brisbane venues in Rosalie and Southbank, The Burrito Bar will be opening their first Gold Coast franchise, which is located in ‘The Wave’, Broadbeach on 12 December 2011.
The Mexican franchises offer a “Street Mex” style Mexican menu with southern California influences in their salsa and fresh delicacies.
Kim Toovey, owner of the Broadbeach restaurant, said The Burrito Bar would be a great fit with the Gold Coast consumers.
“There is an abundance of authentic global cuisine on the Gold Coast however this is a unique offering to other Mexican restaurants currently out there,” said Toovey.
The new Broadbeach venue is undergoing an original street art inspired fitting, which would impress both young and old Mexican lovers looking for an extra piece of personality in their Pico de Gallo.
According to Toovey, a key feature of the venue’s design was to incorporate a funky outdoor area that would bring a coastal element during the day.
“My vision is to create a relaxed retreat for beach goers during the day and a funky venue for diners and party goers at night,” said Toovey.
“Of course it’s important to mention that the restaurant is licensed with a fully stocked bar.”
The Burrito Bar Mexican franchises offers their stylish menu, which consists of fresh tortilla bowl filled with a taco salad, as well as unique chocolate nachos with sweet chocolate tortilla chips and vanilla ice cream coated in chocolate sauce.
