Target Training Gets recognition for its business training

The Target Training franchise had had the privilege to form an alliance with the Australian Retailers Association. Louise Targett, the founder of the education and training business, was vested with the responsibility of delivering the highly acclaimed “Retailing with the GST” package to retail groups across Australia. During this period, the event management business developed a range of training manuals and learning guides with a focus on key business issues, and sold them to retail groups as workshop series and seminars.

The Vocational Education Training and Accreditation Board recognised Target Training as a Registered Training Organisation in 2001. The Department of Education and Training gave its approval for funding of traineeships and apprenticeships in 2004. The department also gave its approval for a partnership entered with the National Retail Association Queensland by Target Training allowing it to provide services to clients in New South Wales and Queensland.

Target Training expanded its geography of services and grew through referrals and good will. The education and training business secured contracts with some of the top 150 companies including Caltex Australia, Mirvac, Sigma Corporation and AMP Shopping Centres. 24.12.2007
