Support staff recruitment numbers up, reports FC Business Solutions
FC Business Solutions Executive Recruitment GM Michael Sheedy reports that he has seen a significant increase in the number of franchisors investing in their support staff this year.
Michael relaunched FC Business Solutions' executive recruitment division in July, and since then notes that there has been a massive 1029 per cent increase in job placements in the third quarter of the calendar year.
For the second half of 2011, from July to December, projected increases compared to the same period last year are expected to top 300 per cent.
The first quarter of the year, Michael says, saw many new franchisors enter the new financial year looking to improve the talent in the businesses and overhaul internal structures.
"From what we are seeing, there is no doubt that franchisors are looking to provide greater support to their franchisees through field support," he comments.
Franchisors are looking to provide their franchisees with an increased level of leadership and financial support, Michael continues, which is evidenced by a number of job placements FC Business Solutions has recently secured.
The company has recruited field support / business development managers for Quest Apartments in two states, as well as Pie Face, and is working with Snap to assist them with finding a field support manager.
Looking ahead, Michael concludes that "the indicators are strong that 2012 will be a busy year in executive recruitment in franchising."
