Snap-on Tools moves head office to cope with growth

Snap-on Tools  automotive franchise has enjoyed the success of recent growth in the franchising and automotive repairs sectors with an increase of over 300% in turnover and 140% in franchisees in the past two decades.

Grown from a $16 million company servicing 65 franchisees nationwide in 1991, the automotive franchise now has an annual turnover of above $65 million and services 160 franchisees across Australia and New Zealand

Snap-on Tools has now relocated their head office and distribution centre from Seven Hills to Arndell Park in order to cope with the growth.

The move took two days and involved 1,200 pallets, or 60 semi-trailer loads of equipment being packed and moved and without any delay in order delivery.

On top of increased warehouse space, an extra 3,700m² and larger office space to accommodate for increased staff in the diagnostics and franchise departments, the new location features an improved tool service centre to maintain customer tools.

The automotive franchise has also put aside a designated area for product training and seminars in a bid to keep up to date with industry training and education for Snap-on franchisees and end-users.

Snap-on’s new head office at 80 Holbeche Road, Arndell Park, NSW is expected to maintain Snap-on Tool’s drive for growth and service excellence.
