Sherpa Group announces launch of ‘Climb Higher’ workshop to assist SMEs with business development
A series of ‘Climb Higher’ workshops will be held by Sherpa Group in March 2011 to assist SMEs in Adelaide to create effective business development and growth strategies.
Through the workshops, Sherpa Group will guide business owners and upper management to produce a solid viability report with an end result determining the best growth model for their business.
Chief Sherpa and multi-award winner Vicki Prout explains that SMEs can often find it challenging to access reliable, cost-efficient and knowledgeable resources in regards to growing their business and making it sustainable.
“After doing some market research, results established that SMEs said they haven’t thought about franchising because of a lack of knowledge and resources, but they were eager to find out more,” she says.
After working with Sherpa Group in 2010, Sustainable Directions Managing Director Tony Innes has some valuable insights into the viability report process.
“The process was very thorough - it was highly valuable and beneficial to our business. I received great support from Vicki and Sherpa Group, we were extremely happy with the overall process,” he comments.
The Climb Higher business development workshops will include six key sessions that are aimed at providing a greater insight into the franchise sector, covering topics such as:
- business structure
- finance
- operations and management
- overview; and
- an exit strategy.
