Sandpit photography franchises offer the support necessary to start from scratch

When Jess Wilson isn’t taking care of her children in the afternoons and on school holidays, she photographs other people’s children as the franchisee for the Central Coast territory for Sandpit Photos franchise.

Sandpit Photos Central Coast specialises in childcare photography and family portraiture providing quality professional photos from Berowra to Thornton and extending west into the Hunter.

“I always wanted to run my own photography business and knowing I would have the support of a franchisor when starting up made it a lot easier in the early days,” Jess said.

Now, Jess plays an active role in every aspect of the photography franchise and is proud of the personalised service she provides.

“The best part of my day as a franchisee is returning to the centres and being greeted with compliments about the photos,” Jess said.

Her hands-on approach means problems can be solved almost instantly, although she admits dealing with how quickly the business has taken off has been her biggest challenge.

Nevertheless, she has been able to make 40 bookings since she started with the photography franchise 2 years ago and has plans for future growth.
