School of Marketing is well known for its high quality, internationally and cross disciplinary related business research that emphasizes how society and business could work together in order to create sustainable enterprise and communities. The strategic research program offered by the education and training business consists of Asian business, sport, recreation and tourism, health management, governance and public policy, smart workplaces, service innovation.

The education provider collaborates with number of University level Strategic Research Program like Australian rivers Institute, security and public policy, democracy, social change and wellbeing. The research centres of the School of Marketing encompasses Griffith Asia Institute, centre for governance and public policy, centre for work, organization and wellbeing, centre for Tourism, Sport and Service Innovation, centre for Organisational Governance and Performance Management.

The education and training business through their departments are linked to number of research bodies such as Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership, Unit for the Study of Religious Change and Consciousness, Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre, Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand, Centre for Financial Independence and Education. Staffs of School of Marketing are consistently successful in all class of Australian Research Council grants and in other industry based research funds.
