Ready Steady Go Kids opens new franchise in Ballarat
Preschoolers in Ballarat, Victoria, will soon get to experience the fun and excitement of Ready Steady Go Kids and their large multi-sport, children’s exercise programs.
Ready Steady Go Kids children’s fitness franchises are dedicated in providing young children with highly regarded, physio-designed exercise programs that can help them develop their athletic prowess, as well as encourage self-confidence, co-operation and sportsmanship.
Ballarat’s franchisee and mother of three, Rachel Colvin, is excited about bringing the children’s sports franchise to the town.
“The curriculum is amazing. All around Australia, Ready Steady Go Kids has proven popular and worthwhile,” said Colvin.
“My oldest son, Kai, three, absolutely loved the classes he attended in Melbourne to the extent that I considered travelling down each week. But then I thought, ‘this is silly, heaps of other children would benefit from Ready Steady GO Kids if it were in Ballarat’, so I decided to bring it here.”
Free trial classes will be offered when classes commence in Ballarat Term 2, 2012. The classes cover the fundamentals of 10 different sports and are run by qualified instructors with early childhood and coaching experience.
“I hope that every preschooler in Ballarat gets to try Ready Steady Go Kids. It sets them up with a good foundation for all sports and learning, giving them the confidence to participate when they get to school,” said Colvin.
“Long-term I plan to offer classes six days a week in multiple locations across Ballarat, as well as in neighbouring country towns. I would love to establish relationships with various schools and Playgroups throughout the area, offering classes and thriving school holiday programs directly at their sites. I would also love for Ready Steady Go Kids to be first in the minds of young children when they are planning what to do for their birthdays.”
Ready Steady Go Kids’ Director, Stuart Derbyshire, is delighted to welcome Rachel Colvin to the children’s fitness franchise network.
“Rachel is the perfect fit for Ready Steady Go Kids. She’s been an athlete all her life, she’s a teacher and her enthusiasm for the program is undeniable. We can’t wait to see what she does with the program in Ballarat.”
Rachel Colvin will be hosting the Ready Steady GO Kids Ballarat Launch Party on Friday 23 March, 2012, at Eastwood Leisure Centre from 10am to 1pm. Families are invited to come along and try the program for free.
