Ready Steady Go Kids gives children more sport opportunities in Melbourne’s east
Ready Steady Go Kids are giving more children sporting opportunities in Melbourne’s east, thanks to local parents, Giselle Jesse and Kerrie Froese.
After having experienced the benefits of Ready Steady Go Kids first hand, the couple were so impressed and had bought the rights to their own territory with classes ready to commence at their newly acquired Box Hill and Donvale locations in Term 1, 2012.
“We’re thrilled to be bringing the program to families here,” Mrs Jesse said. “There really is nothing else like Ready Steady Go Kids. Preschoolers are taught the fundamentals of 10 different sports in a nurturing environment and are given the opportunity to decide for themselves what they like.”
Mrs Froese’s four year old son, Campbell, has been attending Ready Steady Go Kids classes in the past two years. She has witnessed distinct improvements in Campbell’s attentiveness, confidence, coordination and cognition.
“Ready Steady Go Kids not only enhances children’s motor skills but also prepares them for their journey into school,” said Mrs Froese. “Campbell, and now my youngest son Ashton, can never wait until the next Ready Steady Go Kids class.”
Mrs Jesse was originally attracted to the childrens fitness franchises’ program because each class had been physio designed. Mrs Jesse’s three year old son, William, was born with a medical condition and after intensive physiotherapy made a full recovery.
“Physiotherapy and structured exercise can play a significant role in a child’s health and development,” said Mrs Jesse.
“Kerrie and I want more children to benefit in the way ours have.”
Both women have undertaken specialised training so they can run the program and provide the same education and fun classes for the children in Melbourne east’s region.
“But it’s enjoyment for the parents too,” said Mrs Froese, already affectionately known to the children as Kezza Bear.
“They are seeing their preschooler engaged and experiencing new things, plus they’re given the opportunity to get involved during classes.”
Enrolments for Term 1 classes at both the Box Hill and Donvale locations are now open. For more information visit Ready Steady Go Kids website or send them an e-mail.
