Ready Steady Go Kids expands in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs
After their three year old preschooler, Taegan Dodds, attended a free Ready Steady Go Kids trial class, parents Carmen and Byron Dodds were so impressed with the program that they bought their own franchise.
Carmen and Byron Dodds are expanding the Ready Steady Go Kids childrens education franchises into Melbourne’s Western Suburbs, Geelong and Bellarine Peninsula, just in time for Term 4.
“Until that first class, all we wanted was to find a fun, age-appropriate way to encourage our son’s development, but Byron and I loved the program as much as Taegan did and we felt that more children in our area should be able to benefit,” says Carmen Dodds.
“With the intensive expansion of Point Cook and Geelong we saw the need for increased access to sporting activities for children in the area and are proud to be bringing this high-quality program to these family focused communities.”
Carmen Dodds received training in delivering the physio-designed program. Also working as an occupational therapist with experience in paediatrics, Dodds is certainly qualified to notice the advantages the childrens exercise franchises has to offer.
“Ready Steady Go Kids takes on a holistic approach to a child’s development. The program not only teaches preschoolers the fundamentals of 10 different sports but also promotes self-esteem, a love of sport and physical activity and teaches skills that prepare children from as young as two-and-a-half for their journey into school, ” says Dodds.
“What appealed to us about Ready Steady Go Kids was its reputation, the variety of sports on offer, the non-competitive nature and the structure and detail of the program. The course provides a stepping stone for ongoing sporting careers and a lifetime of physical health.”
