Ray White plays integral part in the Gold Coast Bid Team for 2018 Commonwealth Games

Andrew Bell, CEO of Ray White Real Estate Surfers Paradise Group, has played an integral part with the Gold Coast Bid Team to secure the hosting rights for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

As the Chairperson of the Business and Community Committee, Bell and the Gold Coast Bid Team had worked tirelessly to win the rights to host the next Commonwealth Games.

The Gold Coast had managed to successfully win the hosting rights through secret ballot with 43 votes, beating competitor Sri Lanka who had 27 votes.

Winning the 2018 Commonwealth Games have given the Queensland several great benefits. Independent assessments estimate the Sunshine state would receive significant economic benefits with 30,000 increasing employment opportunities and a massive boost to tourism.
