How would you define your brand?
Australasia's largest leisure and entertainment franchise and market leaders who specialize in the retailing of quality confectionery and party supplies.
How old is the company and when did you start franchising?
First retail franchise store opened in Shepparton 18 years ago and first franchised store opened just over six years ago
How many franchises do you have?
14
How are you going to grow the business in 2008?
We will be recruiting more quality franchise owners and implementing a central distribution warehouse development of exclusive products for our group.
Where do you expect the business to be in 2010?
In two years we want the business to be at least twice as big as it is now.
What do you expect from a franchisee?
Creative flair, outstanding customer service skills, exceptional work ethic, loyalty and have the ability to have fun while running a busy retail store.
What sort of hours will the franchisee have to work to get the business established and how long should that take?
Every franchised store is different depending on location, motivation etc, however, the majority of franchisees work the standard 9.00am — 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00amlo 5.00pm on Saturday. Sunday trading is optional.
What profit can a franchisee reasonably expect to make after two years?
Again every franchise is different. It is the same as any business: the more time and effort a franchisee puts in results in more profits at the end of the day.
