Programmes to stimulate the development of children from the Mini Maestros franchise
The Mini Maestros franchise was established in 1948 by Jenny Fogarty and in its near 60 year history, the education and training franchise has developed and refined its child development programme which helps in the mental and social development of children through various music-related activities. The child development franchise’s programmes were developed predominantly by its founder, Jenny Fogarty, who based the teaching model on the Kodaly methodology aw well as the Orff, Dalcroze and Suzuki theories.
Mini Maestros’ educational programme helps children of varying age groups with both conscious and sub-conscious learning streams. Children in the age group of three to four years are able to significantly improve their sequential skills and recognise the rhythmic beats produced by musical instruments.
The Mini Maestros franchise’s programmes also help children develop gross and fine motor functions through games involving jumping, finger plays, etc. Children are also encouraged to use various percussion instruments which also improve motor skills.
The environment established by Mini Maestros is also conducive to the overall social development of the child. A child development franchise creates opportunities where the child can interact, perform for and share with other children. A child may also have to for wait his/her turn which further helps the development of the child as an individual. 04.10.2007Contact Mini Maestros
