Price Attack Karrinyup hair care franchise supports breast cancer care with fundraising day
Every customer that gets their hair cut on Thursday 3rd February at the newest addition to the network of Price Attack hair care franchises, located in Karrinyup Shopping Centre, will be supporting Breast Cancer Care WA, with 100% of haircut proceeds being donated to the charity.
Entitled Haircuts for a Cause, the fundraising day will see every dollar made between 9am and 9pm go to the charity, which provides those affected by breast cancer with services and support.
Breast Cancer Care WA Event and Sponsorship Coordinator Angelique McAvoy says that fundraising days such as this help the organisation to generate the essential funds required to operate.
“As we don’t receive government funding, we rely on donations from the community to be able to provide support and services,” she explains.
Netball WA will be supporting the fundraising efforts at the hair care franchise, with Shae Bolton and Leah Shoard of the West Australian state netball team, West Coast Fever, making special appearances at 12pm.
Australian Idol star Chris Murphy will also be on hand to provide some live entertainment, and additional prizes and giveaways will take place on the day.
