Post war period of Richardson & Wrench in commercial real estate business
Richardson & Wrench sold the Farmer and Grazier building for £1,000,000 in 1956. The real estate and property business sold Farmer and Grazier building for £1,000,000. In 1958 the real estate and property business began its alliance with Lend Lease Corporation Limited as real estate consultants. With the beginning of bonus shares issued to the public, the board of the commercial franchise received an offer of 90/-for every 15/- from a bidder who refused to disclose the identity.
The board of Richardson & Wrench rejected the offer received from anonymous bidder and also rejected Hookers offer due to direct approach made by the company. During 1960 H.R.Crammond sold Darling point consisting of acre and a half for £191000. After 1960, the commercial franchise’s real estate business established a branch office at Double Bay and Crows Nest. In 1962 Lend Lease Corporation took over company’s entire share and expanded its services by opening branches all over the area of Sydney. The share capital of the real estate and property business was purchased by Neil Colins. During 1988 Neil Colins sold entire share capital to W.T.K Group of Companies. 26.12.2007
