Pizza Capers sell more than 15 million pizzas over the year

Pizza Capers  gourmet pizza franchises has sold more than 15 million pizzas throughout Australia in the past year, a big achievement for the pizza franchise who have grown from two to 90 stores in only six years.

The successful sales and impressive growth is all the more impressive due to the competitive nature of pizza franchising in Australia. 

In response to the gourmet pizza franchises’ success, co-founder Scott Geiszler said, “People are more interested in their personal health and fitness and Pizza Capers is known for using only the freshest, highest quality ingredients.”

“Fifteen million pizzas is a fantastic achievement. We’re another step closer to our goal of being the most successful pizza brand in Australia,” Geiszler said.

On the back of this success, the gourmet pizza franchise has far reaching growth strategies.

“We plan to consolidate our growth in 2011 with new stores in New South Wales, Tasmania and Western Australia. South East Asia is also a key target, with plans to open stores in Penang, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta early next year.

“It’s an exciting time,” Geiszler said.

Geiszler said the company’s focus on restaurant-quality pizzas had been welcomed by the public who wanted an alternative to greasy take-away.

Co-owners, Anthony Russo and Scott Geiszler opened the first Pizza Capers store in Queensland and the second the following year. Now, Pizza Capers gourmet pizza franchises are in more than 95 locations around Australia and one in Singapore.
