Personal chess training for children at the Chess Kids franchise
The Chess Kids franchise has long been involved with a number of individuals and schools from which students have gone on to win state level and national level chess championships. The 2005 Australian Junior Championships witnessed 49 players of the education and training franchise winning individual and team awards. This level of success has been primarily due to the children’s chess training franchise’s personal training program.
The personal training program offered by Chess Kids is geared towards fulfilling the needs of advanced chess players. Many children at the school level face difficulties in locating suitable competition to progress their chess skills and the children’s chess training franchise gives these players the opportunity to compete with others of similar proficiency and gain valuable skills and experience.
The Chess Kids training program is usually conducted in periods of about 30 minutes or one hour in quiet and peaceful surroundings. The classes in the training program are conducted from the chess training franchise’s special syllabus and are connected to a series of special badge tests which facilitate self-assessment and self-improvement.
The individual training sessions with a coach are priced at $50 per half-hour, or $70 for a one hour session.
