PWC report reveals good news for Bedshed

Bedshed homewares franchises have received good news from the recently released Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC) Franchise Sector Indicator report.

The report reveals the franchise industry has performed well compared to the broader economy. The sector had experienced excellent growth in 2011 even through the ongoing global economic instability and depressed consumer market.

The Franchise Sector Indicator report predicts franchisors to experience a revenue growth of 11 percent next year and 37 per cent for the next three years. Profits within the franchise industry are also predicted to grow.

“The newest PwC Franchise Sector Indicator report paints a picture of a very robust franchising industry and forecasts impressive growth in the years to come,” said Bedshed’s Chief Operating Officer, Gavin Culmsee.

Culmsee had found the data to be promising not just for Bedshed’s bedding franchises, but also for the whole franchise industry.

“The report talks about the strength of the sector despite the instability in the global economy and that’s certainly consistent with what we’ve seen within our business and within the bedding and bedroom furniture industry,” said Culmsee.
