Ordering pizza made easy - Pizza Hut launches Windows mobile app

Pizza Hut franchises decided to step it up in the world of online ordering and digital business, with the launch of its Windows mobile app.
Developed by Altaine - with Microsoft and Nokia in support - the mobile app is available on all smartphones that run on Microsoft Windows Phone operating system.
Recently speaking to Franchising.net.au, head of marketing and food innovation at Pizza Hut Australia, Anup Jain, says that mobile phone orders account for 25 per cent of online sales. Jain also foresees this trend to continue as more Australians acquire smartphones.

- One touch 'favourites' option so that customer can order their popular pizza easily
- Ordering is more streamlined
The pizza franchise network is also reportedly planning to open up to 25 new stores each year within the next eight to 10 years.
