Optus Gympie Music Muster Celebrates 30 Years with Network Upgrade
Optus , telecommunication franchises, celebrates the Gympie Music Muster’s 30th year running with announced plans of an expansive network upgrade for the Country Music Festival, and a dedicated festival mobi-site.
Optus will be providing over 60,000 festival goers with up to date information on Music Muster, as well as a dedicated network coverage to ensure everyone stays connected.
“Optus is building new sites to bring permanent coverage to Amamoor forest and the local area all year round. Once again, we’ll have a team of technicians on site over the six day Muster to ensure the network is running to optimal levels,” says Anthony Shiner, Optus Country General Manager.
Optus, telecommunication services, will also be providing Muster with the Optus 3G Muster Mobi-site, which would allow Muster goers to keep up to date with the latest line-ups and news prior to the festival.
“In the early days there was no mobile signal which often caused problems. Thanks to Optus installing a permanent network structure on site, staying in touch is now so much easier ensuring our festival-goers remain connected to their friends onsite as well as family and friends at home,” says Vickii Cotter, Optus Gympie Music Muster CEO.
Optus and non-Optus customers will be able to access the Muster Mobi-site. Visit the Optus Muster website for more details in network access and festival information.
