More Glory for Chicken Treat

Quick service restaurant franchise chain, Chicken Treat , have rejoined Perth Glory as a sponsor for the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 Season. Chicken Treat will sponsor match day volunteers, ball kids, and have the naming and apparel branding rights for the player’s mascot.

Perth Glory has achieved some major successes leading into the Hyundai A-League 2009/10 Season. On July 10 & 15 Perth Glory played two huge games, as part of a festival of football that involved UK English Premier League teams Wolverhampton and Fulham, and Hyundai A-League team North Queensland Fury. Despite some bad weather on the nights, Perth crowds enjoyed the opportunity to see big name players Mark Schwarzer and Robbie Fowler as well as Perth Glory’s own new recruits in Branko Jelic, and Socceroos Mile Sterjovski, Jacob Burns and Chris Coyne.

Just like the Glory, Chicken Treat is poised for major success over the coming year as they embark on some major change initiatives. As a major player in the quick service restaurant industry since 1976, Chicken Treat enjoys iconic status in WA as a trusted and recognised brand. Over the next year the brand will introduce some very new and exciting product and service initiatives to further reinforce its positioning as the Home of WA's Favourite Chicken.

With 65 chicken franchise stores throughout the state, Chicken Treat is a unique position to leverage their Glory sponsorship to engage with their customers through targeted marketing initiatives. Jason Marlborough, Chief Executive Officer of the fast food franchise group spoke of the importance of the sponsorship.
