Melton franchisee determined to succeed with TeleChoice mobile phone franchises

TeleChoice franchisee Nigel Begg was not prepared to fail when he joined the network of mobile phone franchises in 2005, having put his home on the line to fund his Melton business.

A newlywed at the time, Begg worked tirelessly to ensure his business was a success, and three and a half months later the business was paid off.

Since then, the Melton mobile phone franchise has gone from strength to strength, even earning Begg the TeleChoice People’s Choice Award in 2009.

Recently opening a second store at Westfield Airport West, Begg strongly believes in supporting the local community with his businesses. The stores sponsor local schools through product giveaways and monetary donations, and TeleChoice Melton is a major sponsor of the Melton Valley Golf Course.

Begg attributes the success of his mobile phone franchises to exceptional customer service and sheer determination.

“From the day we opened, we have been connecting with residents in our local community helping the with all their telecommunications needs,” he comments.

For others considering investing in TeleChoice telecommunications franchises, Begg suggests that controlling excessive spending is important, as is being very selective in the choice of employees.

“The exciting thing about this industry is that it’s constantly evolving and the rewards that come with owning your own TeleChoice store are more than just financial. If people are willing to learn and have the drive to accomplish great things, they’ll be successful in this industry,” Begg says.
