Melbourne Hosts National Final of Hudsons Coffee Barista Competition 2011

Hudsons Coffee will be hosting the National Final of the Hudsons Coffee Barista Competition at Melbourne, Victoria in late September 2011. Competitors are assessed by an independent team of judges and rewarded at store, regional and national level.

The competition focuses in rewarding and recognising the best barista performance in the coffee franchises network, as well as improving skills, training and providing ongoing support. The challenge also provides Hudsons Coffee staff an opportunity to participate in a national competition.

The National Hudsons Coffee Barista Competition will be held under the Melbourne Central Clock Tower, Victoria from 11am onwards on 22 September 2011. The final will comprise of two competitions designed to server up Hudsons Coffee’s best Australian barista and barista team.

Hudsons Coffee provides ongoing support and encourages skill development in their food & beverage franchises. The National Barista Competition is an annual internal event that spans for three months, across six states. The competition prizes consist of a trip for two to Rome, Italy and a trip for two to Queensland’s Skybury Estate Coffee Plantation.
