Mad Mex ranks on 2011 BRW Fast 100

Mad Mex Fresh Mexican Grill has been ranked 12th in the BRW Fast 100 list of fast growing franchises for 2011, and has taken the top spot in the Accommodation and Food Services category.

The Mexican franchises have been one of the three food franchises to make the BRW Fast 100 list, which also included Beach Burrito Company at 34 and Pie Face at 49.

“Mad Mex’s 12th place ranking on the 2011 BRW Fast 100 list is an honour and really a testament to the excitement and enthusiasm our customers have for the Mad Mex brand,” says founder Clovis Young.

“We are especially pleased to be the top food concept out of only three food brands to make the list and pleased to be a bricks and mortar retail concept achieving competitive results.”

A few weeks before, Mad Mex fast food franchises was awarded the Runner-Up trophy for Emerging Franchisor of the Year at the 2011 Franchise Council of Australia’s annual Awards of Excellence.

Mad Mex Mexican Fresh Grill has been experience rapid expansion within the year 2011. The Mexican restaurant franchises recently opened their fourth new store in Westfield Sydney Central Plaza’s food court.

Mad Mex is scheduling an opening of a new store at Sydney’s Darling Harbour in November and additional locations in Perth, scheduled to open before Christmas.

The 2011 BRW Fast 100 list recognises Australia’s fastest growing companies, which can range from public and private organisations and small and medium businesses.
