Mackay NightOwl Convenience Store wins award for operational excellence

Mackay NightOwl franchisees Tamara Goodes and Steven Leigh have won NightOwl’s 2010 Operational Excellence Award at the annual NightOwl Awards for Excellence.

The Operation Excellence Award commends excellence in store operations, training and outstanding personalised service to customers of the supermarket franchises.

Franchisees of the Victoria Street store in Mackay Tamara and Steven have steadily developed the NightOwl Convenience Store  to great success.

According to NightOwl CEO Andrew Morgan, Tamara and Steven have excelled in all areas which are essential for a successful supermarket franchise.

“They go above and beyond for their customers. Small things have made a big difference, such as ensuring the shop is stocked with extra candles and batteries in cyclone season, to offering free tea and coffee to members of Emergency Services, to the meticulous cleanliness of the store itself,” he said.
