Kwik Kopy Norwood wins Gold at 2011 SA & NT PICA Awards

Kwik Kopy Design and Printing Norwood has won the Gold at the 2011 South Australia and Northern Territory Printing Industries Craftsmanship Award (PICA) for their innovative and clever ‘send us your briefs’ campaign.

The PICA award highlights the impact, appeal and effectiveness of well-designed printed material of the highest quality in South Australia and Northern Territory business landscape.

Kwik Kopy runs Offset and Digital printing with a range of finishing options that can be completed in-house.

Other than winning Gold, Kwik Kopy Norwood had also won two slivers in the category of ‘One, Two or Three Colour Printing’ and ‘Security or Speciality Printing’ for their campaigns ‘Kirkness & Partnes Presentation Folder’ and ‘When it counts – Scratch, score and WIN cards’ respectively.

The Norwood printing franchise had also received a bronze in the ‘Impact, Sensory and Direct Mail’ for their campaign ‘Free Coffee’.

“Three of the awards were using a Digital machine HP Indigo 5000, one award was for offset using a Ryobi 4 colour press,” says Phil. 

“The scratch cards were the biggest job out of the four and was a complex job involving a latex overlay and spot varnishes requiring constant supervision for security reasons.”
