With the first franchise opened in South Melbourne, Kinderdance International is an innovative early childhood development program that is taking the world by storm.
Through its range of programs, Kinderdance leisure and entertainment franchise promotes physical development, motor skill development and self-confidence for children between the ages of two and twelve.
Kids enjoy moving and learning in three Kinderdance programs: Kinderdance, Kindermotion and Kindertots.
Sharon Cameron launched the womens franchise, Kinderdance International, in Australia upon recognising the benefits of this new method of assisting childhood development after seeing the program’s success in America. Kinderdance is a fun and upbeat way of enhancing physical and emotional growth and development.
“What I love about Kinderdance is its focus on the total child,” Ms Cameron said.
“All Kinderdance programs promote physical development and language skills, imagination and socialisation while building self-confidence and a positive self-esteem … not to mention they are great fun!” said Ms Cameron.
“I am extremely excited to be introducing Kinderdance International to Australia.”
Ms Cameron teaches Kinderdance programs at childcare centres, preschools and other locations throughout Victoria and New South Wales.
She is a certified early childhood movement specialist with a background in nursing. She has also worked for many years with children, including children with disabilities.
Kinderdance programs are also welcome in light of the Council of Australian Governments’ National Reform Agenda released this year. Titled: “Victoria’s plan to improve outcomes in early childhood care”, the Agenda sets out a framework for reform, including directions that aim to strengthen the health, development and learning of 0-5 year olds. 12.09.2008
