Jumping J-Jays is focused on safety

by Jumping J-Jays Castles and Slides
Jumping J-Jays would like to wish James Dean and his family all the best in the recovery. “It is truly unfortunate when accidents happen in our industry when they could easily be avoided” says John Newton, director of Australia’s largest party castle supplier for kids - Jumping J-Jays.

“The Australian amusement industry provides clear guidelines for the safe use and installation of jumping castles, and our company actually goes far beyond these guidelines to ensure that safety is our company’s number one priority.”

Jumping J-Jays is a proud and active member of the International Inflatable Products and Games Association, the Australian Amusement Association and the Australian Amusement Leisure and Recreation Association. The company was also awarded Franchisor of the year in 2003 and again in 2004 by the Franchise Council of Australia (Home Based & Mobile) and is widely recognised throughout the amusement industry for its focus on safety.

Toy castles are also on the market but are only meant for private use and do not meet industry standards – therefore not coming close to Jumping J-Jays standard. It is critical that people follow the safety instructions for any amusement devise to ensure everyone can enjoy it safely.

Jumping J-Jays is highly regarded throughout the industry as a jumping castle franchise, and is constantly in the media to comment on any safety concern in the industry. There are unfortunately many operators who choose to ignore the Australian standard, so I urge customers to choose their castle provider wisely.

At Jumping J-Jays, only fully inflatable walled castles are stocked to ensure that kids can bounce off the walls and even lean on them, whereas it is unsafe to do so on a netted wall as there is nothing supporting the wall.

Jumping J-Jays major safety features:
• Fully Inflatable Walls
• Full training is provided to the customer so they know how to enjoy the castle safely
• Safety bumper stops at the front for toddlers
• Pegs are 1 metre long to ensure anchorage is enhanced
• UV Sun Shade
• Bright covers over pegs so they are clearly visible
• Safety switch fitted on every electrical cable
• All castles are kept in top condition and are under 3 years old
