Interest strong in business support package

A business support package from New Zealand now being franchised in Australia has attracted strong interest from people in several states following the success of the prestigious 2009 events in Auckland.

The business to be franchised, a Total Business Support Package, includes the Bizzone Business Expo, the Bizzone Excellence in Business Support Awards and the Bizzone Magazine, which is currently the largest circulation business magazine in New Zealand.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand Hon John Key was one of 7000 people to attend the Bizzone Business Expo in May 2009. He presented this year’s Supreme Vero Excellence in Business Support Award and was guest of honour at a black tie gala dinner attended by 600 business people.

The Bizzone business support franchise group, is run by one of New Zealand’s leading businesswomen, Sarah Trotman. The Bizzone Business Expo is held annually in New Zealand in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and 13,500 business people attend the event each year.

Business support specialist Sarah Trotman says the Bizzone Business Expo is the only expo in the country where exhibitor numbers are on target and show sites throughout the country are now nearly full. The number of exhibitors at the Bizzone Business Expo in Auckland was the same as in 2008 and exhibitor numbers for the expo in Wellington in July and Christchurch in August expos are on target at 85% full already.

“At our expo, our 300-plus exhibitors are 100% committed to achieving results for the people who attend,” Sarah Trotman says. “Everyone who comes to the expo goes away with a new idea or product that actually helps them achieve better results in their business.”

She is delighted with the strong interest already expressed in the concept by business people in Australia. “Most of the genuine interest centres around the fact that we are offering a Total Business Support Package and there is nothing like it on the market,” Sarah Trotman says. “I am convinced the Bizzone business support formula will work internationally because it is a world-class event - there is nothing in Australia like our package and no awards that celebrate excellence in business support – a growth industry in itself.”
