Howards Storage World looking to expand network of retail homewares franchises into New Zealand

The Howards Storage World chain of retail homewares franchises is looking south in an attempt to secure partners in a New Zealand Master Franchise.

With two retail franchises already located in Tauranga and Albany, the company is seeking a Master Franchisee to assist in rolling out more stores across the country.

Chief Executive Officer of Howards Storage World, Dirk Spence, will visit Auckland on the 10th August to present an information session on the retail franchise opportunity to interested parties at the Langham Hotel, Auckland.

Mr. Spence says that the company has been investing in consolidating and building their New Zealand business over the past couple of years, and believes that the timing is right to secure a Master Franchisee.

This will assist in bringing the domestic business to the next level, and should see an expansion of Howards Storage World retail homewares franchises in the near future.

“The next phase of growth for Howards Storage World will include the opening of a warehouse in New Zealand to import stock and service the stores, and expanding the number of stores around the country,” he adds.

Howards Storage World has been operating in New Zealand since 2006, most recently as an adjunct to the Australian operation.
