The young accountant wanted to establish an accounting practice that would make sure that the interests of the business groups were realised through the provision of accounting services which were more effective than other bookkeeping services. William Buck had the vision to help these businesses to achieve their full potential through a commitment to excellence. William Buck and the practice, which had the same name, were a symbolic representation of his vision and dream. The financial advisor attracted a diverse range of clients, such as small family businesses to large corporations and corporates.
William Buck had another dream, wherein he wanted to ensure that excellence was acheived and maintained in this accounting profession. To achieve that, William Buck started the first accounting school in Victoria. A number of potential accountants travelled from across the world to learn and acquire knowledge in his institution.
