Getting a superannuation membership with CARE Super
CARE Super is a superannuation fund that invests the members’ money towards retirement at their best interests to secure them a safe future. The advisory services business offers two types of memberships which include ‘Industry fund member’ and ‘Personal plan member’. The superannuation fund gives people the choice of requesting their employers to become members or take a personal membership plan and transfer all other superannuation funds into CARE Super.
The advisory services business’s personal plan is best suited for self employed persons as well as spouses or children of members of CARE Super. For those people, whose employers are members of the superannuation fund, relevant applications in the membership guide need to be filled to get personal membership.
It has been made possible for many Australian employees to choose their own fund since July 2006. CARE Super offers its members a lot of flexibility in investment options, which are categorised into seven managed options, five asset class option and ASX 200 option that can be chosen individually or in combination with others.
