G J Gardner Homes building franchises celebrate first place in HIA awards

The Housing Industry of Australia recently held its Top 100 Breakfast, recognising G J Gardner Homes building franchises as the Number One Franchise Builders in Australia.

The award confirms that G J Gardner Homes has built the most new homes as a solely franchise company, with 1300 houses constructed by its national building franchises. The company has maintained this award for 14 years.

CEO Darren Wallis is thrilled by the announcement.

“Our franchise systems are extremely well-thought-out to make life easy for the builder and clients alike. Our home plans are architecturally designed and have proven to be ideal for our client’s aspirations. We also have a five star performance that covers the whole building experience from slab down to lock-up – we believe this is what sets us apart from other franchise builders,” he says.

The network of building franchises also received an award for being the Ninth Largest New Housing Construction Company in Australia. This award takes into consideration builders from across the industry, with G J Gardner Homes having previously achieved 12th place in 2009.

First established in 1993 by Greg Gardner on the Sunshine Coast, G J Gardner Homes has grown since the decision to franchise in 1996 to over 100 building franchises across America, Australia and New Zealand.

The Housing Industry of Australia Top 100 Breakfast is held annually, and aims to promote and celebrate excellence within the building industry.
