Frenchams franchise’ gardening gives a greenish outlook

The Frenchams franchise sells and offers on hire plants and plantscaping. The gardening business undertakes installation and maintenance of interior and exterior plants and plantscaping. The plant hire business provides quality service and maintains a tradition of adding outstanding value to its service.

Frenchams offers its services in the areas of Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The gardening business serves voluminous clients and enriches the outlook of offices, shopping malls, atriums, hotels, retail stores and many more buildings. Mr. Les Frencham started the plant hire business in 1889.

Following the path of their grandfather, Frank and Peter Gerraty entered into the business in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Frenchams bought a large nursery site spanning 238 acres in 1970. The nursery site is situated in The Basin at the foot of the Dandenongs. The gardening business developed a nursery in 1977 in Queensland and shifted the main operation to 21 Wadhurst Drive, Boronia.

Frenchams started its franchise operations in 1987 and now has 23 franchisees in the Melbourne and Geelong Metropolitan areas. The gardening business is in the process of expanding its franchises in New South Wales and Queensland and aims to develop the franchise system into national level.
